Oh, Holy Spirit…

Every Word You speak bears Life and Good Fruit. I pray every word imparted to each guest that comes seeking Your Life Water is only from You and not from any part of my flesh. It is Your Will, not my will, that will be done, and Your Words, not my words, that will be spoken.

Let all know the Great Pearls of Wisdom planted here are Gifts from You that You have graciously blessed me with and have called me to share. I pray You continue to bless me with Your Wisdom. Make me lowly and as humble, obedient, tender, and wise as Daniel.

Let all know I am just a vessel and nothing more, chosen by You so You can execute Your Will through me and speak through me. You are the Worthy One, my Lord. All glory and all credit goes to You. I am just a clay pot, but You are the Beautiful Flower I hold inside.

Let this Home bring the Light and Truth, the Hope and Love that so many of our little ones are starving for. Bless them, Father, and let them be filled and come for more. If any are blind, let them see; if any are deaf, let them hear. And if any hearts are hardened, make them soft.

Let all who come receive You and come to know All of You. Let not one soul that enters this Home be lost or fall away.

I deliver everything into Your Hands, Lord God. Wash me, purify and sanctify me for Your Work, consecrating me to You and making me holy as You are Holy.

Thank You for hearing my prayer, Father. Blessed be Your Holy Name forever.

In the Precious Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

The Spiritual Principles of Bearing Good Fruit

To bear good fruit for the Lord is quite a process, my buttercup, and does not necessarily come about in the order we will discuss, but be sure to pocket these Pearls from the Lord deep into the folds of your heart….

First, one must be fully in the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

This one may seem to be a given, my little love, but if only this were so. For if only you knew how many walk not fully in the Spirit, or convince themselves they are fully clothed in the Spirit, yet allow their flesh to penetrate through the Finely Woven Threads of God’s Robe and then labor in the flesh, not in the Spirit. Be very cautious of this.

Second, you must rely on the Spirit’s Wisdom and not on puny, finite human knowledge, for God’s Truth can never be refuted, nor does It return void. After all, it is God’s Word coming out of your mouth that brings Life, not your own mouth, or your own words. You must remember where your place is: you are just the instrument that God is using. It is Him at Work, not you. The Sweet Rhythms of Life and the Melody and Hum of Salvation come from Him, not from you. Remember this.

Take note of this also, dear one: by relying on your own knowledge, you can labor for hours, days, weeks, and years, but you will only bear dead fruit. But when you are equipped with the Spirit’s Power and rest in God’s Wisdom, you can bear handfuls, basketfuls, hundreds, even thousands of good fruit, instantly.

Finally, my little peach, you must pray, watch, listen, and ask:

Pray. Do not go seeking for opportunities on your own, but pray for them to come your way, and be alert and ready when they do. Pray to be made ready to be used by the Lord, for He must prepare His clay first before it can be used. Pray also once a seed has been dropped so the Lord can give it root, nourish it, and make it grow.

Watch and listen. The Lord will bring opportunities to you, but you must watch carefully for them. He may also give you Direct Instruction, but you must listen closely for It. If you do not watch or listen, opportunities will be missed.

Ask. You must ask to be filled with the Spirit and ask for the Lord’s Power, Strength, and Wisdom. The more you ask for, the more you will have. And the more obedient and submissive you are, the quicker He can work. How quickly or how slowly this process will move, therefore, is truly up to you, my sweet, for the more you desire to be used, the more He will use you.

One final thought for you to bite into, my little lamb, before we go. Be patient, be still, and just be. Like a jelly jar sitting and waiting to be filled to serve its purpose. It cannot move, so it waits until someone or something comes to fill it. Once it has been filled with its delicious jelly, it is ready to be emptied. Hungry hands that starve to taste the jelly will reach into the jar and take the jelly away. All the while, the jar just sits there. Once the jar is emptied, it sits and waits until it is filled and used again.

You are the jar; the Lord is the Supplier. The Lord will do. You just have to be.

Mountains Only Move When You Ask God to Move Them

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)

My little plum, why do you still doubt and think impossible is impossible? If there is a mountain standing in your way, simply ask Him to move it, and He will move it. How can you allow yourself to believe that what He has commanded you to do cannot be done? Did not Christ do it? And is He or is He not living inside of you?

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13)

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

And why, little love, do you not give unto the Lord the heaviness you yourself have bonded onto your ankles? Why do you hold so dearly onto such a burden? Don’t you know how much He wants to take it away and gladly accepts all of it, if only you would just give it to Him and ask Him to take it from you?

Sweet child, whatever you ask, it will be given you, but you must ask! And if it is not given you as quickly as you had hoped, you must keep asking, all the while you wait. For if He has not yet answered, it simply means the time is not yet ripe; The Potter could still be in the middle of perfecting a single piece of His clay. (He could also be trying His precious clay vessel, but this we will, God willing, touch upon another day.) And if He never answers, then what you had asked for did not abide by His Will. Therefore, little dove, when you ask, be sure you ask His Will, and not your will, be done.

If you truly seek with all of your heart, you will find. The Lord is Faithful and gives freely, but He wants us to want and seek more of Him. Though He already knows our needs, He wants us to come to Him and lay them down at His Feet as a child comes to a father before the father sits the child on his lap. Otherwise, we would become spoiled little children instead of thankful little lambs.

Therefore, ask.

You Cannot Trust Yourself

Trust not in yourself or in any of your devices (mind, bodily impulses, thoughts, and most definitely not the heart), even in matters you think may be small, but lean on the Lord for everything and put all of your trust in Him.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Trusting in yourself is like walking through a dark cave with only the candlelight as your guide. Some passages you will see, many you will miss; some sharp edges you can avoid, others you will run into blindly. Trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, little one; He will shine the sun throughout the entire cave, illuminating every crevice such that darkness could not even hide within the smallest cracks.

A man that chooses to trust in his own devices in even the slightest way is also like a man digging a hole searching for water. He may find a little water, but only for a short while, for he will surely have to dig again as soon as the last hole dries up. This he will continue to do all of his life. Meanwhile, a river flows endlessly right behind him, merely a few yards away, but he does not see it because his stubbornness has taken him.

Let the Lord lead you, dear child, lest you’d like to find yourself digging for a lifetime for only a few drops of water, when you could have had an instant and endless supply, no digging required.

Who Do You Serve?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment. (Matthew 22:37-40)

Little love, are you truly following your Lord with all of your heart, mind, and soul? Or is there even just a sliver of you that you have not yet yielded to the Lord and have reserved somewhere else…?

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

What is the “mammon” you could be holding onto, dear child, and why won’t you just let it go? It will free you more than you can possibly ever imagine! For you could never know what it is like to have wings or float across the sky like the clouds do until you give it all (yes! All) up for Him!

What is it that could be keeping you from serving the Lord with everything you have to offer? Is it sleep? Is it food? Could it be your fears? Perhaps a physical thing? Or your speech? (Yes, even the things you talk about count, too – He wants to, and deserves to be, in all parts of your conversation. What else could you possibly talk about and get lasting Joy from? Nothing! I implore you to try, if you don’t believe me, and see how long before your cup of man-made joy tips over! I can assure you, it won’t be very long!)

Don’t you know He seeks after your whole heart because He loves you with Everything He has? Would you think it is right and just to be loved with everything by another and then to only give a partial love in return? (Only a lying or fooled heart could say yes.)

And what loving father wouldn’t want all of a child’s love? Or what father desires to see his child running off somewhere else instead of running into his arms to seek guidance or gifts from him when it is he who knows what is best for his child?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (Matthew 7:11-12)

Don’t you know the more you “love” everything else less and love Him more, the more He will bless you now and when His Kingdom comes? For which do you think has the greater value – the treasures of the earth that were made from dust and to dust will return, or the Treasures of Heaven that last for eternity?

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)

Trust me when I say, give Him all of you. He has so much Love to give you and so many Blessings He wants to share with you, so many delightful Surprises He is ready to plant for you because you are so dear to Him, little lamb, in much the same way His Love is (and should be) dear to you!

But if you don’t seek Him, with every piece of your heart, you’ll never know all of the Beautiful Gifts He has stored for you…and to pass them up would be the most regrettable thing you’ll ever do….
